Middlesbrough midfielder Seb Berhalter made an impact from the bench as the USA defeated Peru 4-1 in Orlando.
Berhalter was introduced when the match was level at 1-1. After the hosts went ahead 2-1, the Boro midfielder delivered a cross that allowed Julian Hall to finish at the far post to make it 3-1. Berhalter then added a goal of his own in the final minutes with a strike from distance to seal the 4-1 result.
Strelec In Nations League Action
Elsewhere, Middlesbrough defender David Strelec was in action for Slovakia in a Nations League fixture against Moldova. Strelec played 72 minutes as Slovakia won 2-0.
