Law McCabe will get his first competitive outing of the season when Middlesbrough's Under-21s travel to Solihull Moors on Tuesday evening. The 20-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Plymouth Argyle, featured regularly in pre-season and will now feature in the cup competition under coach Mark Tinkler.
The trip to Damson Park comes after an emphatic start to the campaign for the young Boro side. In their National League Cup opener midweek, they defeated Hartlepool United with a club record scoreline, winning 10-0. Frankie Coulson scored four goals in that rout.

Mark Tinkler praised his squad's approach to the heavy victory. "I was really with pleased with our professionalism," he said. "It would have been easy for them to take their foot off the pedal after scoring four or five, but they really stuck to the task and were rewarded with a good win."
Tinkler added: "Beating anyone 10-0 like that is obviously great for confidence, but there's no getting carried away. We'll go to Solihull expecting a tough test. They have lost their first two league games so it'll be interesting to see how they approach it."
The match kicks off at 7pm on Tuesday at Damson Park Stadium.
