Delano Burgzorg has joined Preston North End on a season-long loan from Middlesbrough FC. The 27-year-old forward moves across the Pennines in the latest move of a busy summer of transfer activity for Boro.
Burgzorg's Middlesbrough Record
Burgzorg arrived at Middlesbrough in the summer of 2024 from Huddersfield and made 71 appearances for the club, scoring eight goals. His most recent goal in Boro colours came at West Brom at the turn of the year, scored in dramatic fashion. He made just two further appearances for Middlesbrough after that.
Recent Loan at Bristol City
Before his move to Preston, Burgzorg joined Bristol City on loan until the end of the season. He made 16 appearances for the Ashton Gate club during the second half of the campaign, with 11 of those coming from the bench. He scored one goal during his time there.
