Salon Elle is preparing to open on Woodrow Crescent in Marton on Saturday 7 November, a year after founder Ellie started her own business.
The Middlesbrough salon will bring hair services, a training academy and space for other independent businesses together under one roof.
According to a submission from Ellie’s mother, Tracy Davison, the new premises will be shared with three other women running businesses of their own.
Shared space for independent businesses
Hair services listed for Salon Elle include styling, blow-dries, pin-ups, extensions and bridal hair.
Alongside developing her own business, Ellie says she wants the premises to give other people space and support to build businesses of their own.
The opening follows around 12 months of working for herself. The submission describes the salon as the next stage of that business, bringing its services and training activity into a shared setting in Marton.
The opening date supplied to the newsroom is 7 November 2026. The location is Woodrow Crescent, Marton, Middlesbrough.
