Middlesbrough U21s travel to Everton on Friday 16 October at 19:00 for a Premier League 2 fixture as Mark Tinkler's side look to convert recent cup success into league points.
The young Boro side are yet to win in PL2 this season. Their last two outings have come in the Premier League International Cup, where they drew 1-1 with Genk and beat Juventus 1-0 at the Riverside. Earlier in the campaign they also drew with Leeds United and Aston Villa in league play.
Everton's Mixed Form
Everton U21s have won just one of their four league fixtures so far — a victory at Brentford. They have collected three red cards across their four games, with their most recent result a goalless draw with Reading.
