Middlesbrough FC will host RCD Espanyol at the Riverside on Saturday, August 1st 2026 at 3pm for their final pre-season fixture. The club is expecting more than 12,000 fans for the match.
Matchday Information
Ticket offices will open from 10am on matchday. The club shop opens from 10am until kick-off, stocking new Castore replica kits alongside training and leisurewear.
An extended FanZone opens from noon, featuring food and drinks stalls, free face painting, and activities including a football competition, a National Literacy Trust book prize draw, and a "guess the time of the first goal" competition with a signed pennant from Kim Hellberg up for grabs.
The matchday posterzine is available for £2 around the ground, payable by card or cash.
Children and Supervision
Parents should note that all children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult both inside and outside the stadium.
