Cleveland Fire Brigade has launched a 12-week public consultation on its draft Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) 2026û2030. The plan sets out how the Brigade will protect and serve communities across Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland, and Stockton-on-Tees over the next four years.
What is the CRMP?
The CRMP is the Brigade's most important strategic document. It outlines how the service identifies, prevents, and responds to risks in local communities, and sets priorities for the future.
The draft plan has been shaped by incident data, risk modelling, and feedback from staff, partners, and members of the public during a pre-consultation earlier this year.
What does the plan address?
The plan addresses the changing nature of risk across Teesside ù from climate-related challenges such as wildfires and flooding to the evolving needs of vulnerable individuals and high-risk premises.
How to have your say
Members of the public, businesses, and partners are invited to review the draft plan and share their views. The consultation will remain open until Sunday 7 December 2025 at 23:59.
