Middlesbrough FC striker Will Lankshear has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for August following an impressive start to his competitive career at the club.
Lankshear scored twice on the opening day as Middlesbrough came from behind to beat Lincoln City. He added another double in the 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion before scoring the winner at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, taking his league tally to five goals in four games during the month.
Other Nominees
Lankshear faces competition from Charlton Athletic's Lloyd Jones, Southampton's Cyle Larin and Wolverhampton Wanderers' Fer Lopez.

The award is judged by Sky Sports EFL expert Don Goodman, EFL chief executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies. The winner will be announced on Friday.
